Recording your hours

Two taps a day. This page shows what they look like and what to do when something does not work.

Your day

  1. When you start

    Tap CHECK IN.

  2. When you finish

Tap CHECK OUT. A day needs both taps to be complete.

  3. Back again later

One day can hold several sessions. The total is added up for you.

Location

Location is required — without it a tap cannot be recorded. Nothing is tracked between your two taps. The line above the button tells you whether it is working before you tap.

Ready — tap the button.

Records fine. Turning Wi-Fi on gives a better position.

Allow it for this site, then tap Check location. See below.

Move somewhere with a clearer signal, or turn Wi-Fi on, then check again.

Allowing location

In the browser
Tap the icon at the left of the address bar → Location → Allow, then reload. In Safari: Settings → Websites → Location.
On the device
iPhone or Android: Settings → Location on, then allow it for your browser. Mac: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services on, with your browser ticked.
If it still cannot find you
Your device could not work out where it is. means the permission is granted but the device itself has location switched off — check the device step above. This browser cannot report a location, means the browser cannot do it at all; use a normal window, or another browser.

What is recorded

Two moments a day
When you check in and when you check out — nothing in between.
Where you were, precisely
Your device's position at those two moments, and how accurate it says it is.
Kept with your work record
Kept as long as the company keeps your employment records. They are not deleted on a schedule.

Times always show in your own device's clock and time zone. Today means your local day.
